Grest Limited Warranty Policy
Understanding your warranty rights, coverage, and how to claim.

1. Overview
This Limited Warranty Policy explains the warranty and service terms that apply to repairs performed through Grest Repair (screen replacements and other spare parts), and refurbished electronic devices sold by Grest. All warranty rights are subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions set out below.
2. Warranty — Repairs (Screen & Parts)
2.1 Screen (6 months + 1 month breakage protection)
- Screens/LCDs replaced by Grest Repair are covered by a 6-month warranty from the invoice date plus one (1) month of one-time breakage protection.
- Functional failures of the replaced screen or display issues not caused by physical impact or liquid damage are covered.
- Covered defects will be resolved through replacement with a brand-new screen.
- If the original screen is not handed over at the time of replacement, screen warranty is limited to 3 months.
2.2 Other Spare Parts (3 months)
- All other spare parts fitted during repair carry a 3-month limited warranty.
- Functional failures caused by manufacturing or workmanship defects are covered.
- Remedy shall be repair or replacement at Grest's discretion.
3. Warranty — Refurbished (Sold by Grest)
3.1 Standard Warranty Period
- iPhone 15 series and all newer iPhone models sold by Grest are covered by a limited warranty of up to twelve (12) months from the invoice date.
- All other refurbished device models sold by Grest are covered by a standard limited warranty of six (6) months from the invoice date.
- Customers purchasing devices covered by the standard 6-month warranty may extend their warranty coverage up to twelve (12) months by paying an Extended Warranty Fee equal to 4% of the device invoice value.
- Chargers, cables, adapters and batteries supplied with the device are covered for 3 months from the invoice date.
4. Who Is Covered; Transferability
Warranty coverage is valid only for the original purchaser named on the invoice and is non-transferable.
5. How to Claim Warranty
- Send a short video showing the defect to care@grest.in.
- Provide order number, phone number, IMEI or serial number.
- Furnish original invoice if requested.
- Grest may request additional evidence or inspection.
6. Claim Verification & Resolution Process
All claims are subject to inspection and verification.
- Acknowledgement: within 24 hours.
- Pickup: within 2–3 working days.
- In-store resolution: within 7 working days.
- End-to-end resolution: generally within 15 working days.
If a claim is accepted, Grest may repair or replace the defective device, component, or part. Repaired or replaced products shall carry only the remaining balance of the original warranty period.
Warranty remedies under this Policy are limited to repair or replacement only. No cash refund, reimbursement, depreciation-based settlement, or store credit shall be available under this Warranty Policy unless expressly required under applicable law.
7. Scope of Warranty — What Is Covered
Functional defects discovered within the applicable warranty term that directly relate to the repaired part or covered refurbishment defects.
8. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations (What Is NOT Covered)
- Accidental or physical damage.
- Liquid or water damage.
- Unauthorized repairs or tampering.
- Software issues, jailbreak/root, or third-party applications.
- Cosmetic damage.
- Battery degradation from normal use.
- Use of non-approved accessories.
- Pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repair.
- Failure to follow usage instructions.
- Incorrect or tampered IMEI/serial number.
- Failure to report defects within the warranty period.
- Loss of data.
- Green line, pink line, white line, display burn-in, pixel line defects, OLED line issues, or similar screen line defects are expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
9. Conditions That Void Warranty
Incorrect or tampered IMEI/serial number, unauthorized repairs, misuse, improper storage, exposure to moisture, pre-existing structural damage, failure to report defects during warranty period, or use of unauthorized parts/accessories.
10. Data Backup & Responsibility
Customers must back up all data prior to submitting a device for repair. Grest is not responsible for data loss or restoration.
11. Force Majeure
Grest shall not be liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
13. Complete Agreement & Reserved Rights
This Policy constitutes the full warranty agreement between Grest and the customer. Grest reserves the right to amend warranty terms and refuse claims involving abuse or fraud.
